>Description:
When remaking a port that already has a /var/db/ports/XXX/options file portupgrade (-a or -afk) will ignore it and reask for options.

Remake a port that has options (such as portupgrade it self)

 Have you ever tried using
 [#] env BATCH=yes portupgrade <port>

Otherwise - IIRC, it always asks you if you want to change options ...

I tried as you suggested with portupgrade-devel which already had
 OPTIONS set:

   portupgrade -f portupgrade-devel-\*

and the OPTIONS screen did not redisplay. I also tried a "make" in
port-mgmt/portupgrade-devel and again no screen displayed. The
"make showconfig" shows my OPTIONS settings. This is the behavior
that I would expect (running 6.2-PRERELEASE and portupgrade-devel).

Perhaps I misunderstood how to repeat but I don't see what
 you're seeing.

It's a wrong report. portupgrade can't ignore OPTIONS.
OPTIONS is porcessed by ports engine (bsd.ports.mk) but not portupgrade.
