>Description:
My system has an MSI motherboard, Intel i810 graphics, and a Diamond
Supramax 56K Dial-up serial modem. I regret that this is as positively
as I can identify the hardware at this time.

When browsing the internet (whether it be loading web pages or downloading
files) or utilizing KGet (an application created for the K Desktop
Environment used for downloading files over the internet), the computer
will occasionally freeze (meaning that all activity on the monitor ceases,
the hard drive indicator light ceases lighting up, and input is non-
responsive) such that a reset of the computer is required to get an
operational system again. When the system becomes non-responsive, the
screen will go black a short time later. Though the modem stops
transmitting data once the system stops responding, it still behaves
as if it is connected to my ISP (that is, the "OH", "MR", "CD", and
"PWR" lights are still active).

It should be noted that I use PC-BSD, not pure Free-BSD. However, as
almost 90 percent of its code base is derived from FreeBSD, I felt that
the problem probably lies with it, not, PC-BSD. I have taken this problem
to the official PC-BSD IRC channel, where I was instructed by a fellow
user to build a kernel which included the DDB capability. I have done
this, and am prepared to obtain whatever information is required with
DDB, provided I am told how to do so.
>How-To-Repeat:
Presumably, one must possess the required hardware and use the internet
for an indeterminate amount of time to reproduce the problem.
>Fix:
Unknown.

State-Changed-Why:
We'll need to know more information, such as what browser you're using,
to correctly assess the problem.

Make this a ports PR and track. (www is only for problems with the
FreeBSD website.)

Feedback received, but I don't think I will be able to help with this
problem. There must be some kind of misconfiguration on the submitter's
system, but I have no idea what.

I'm not really sure how to help you pin down this problem. I have both
FreeBSD and PC-BSD installed, both using KDE, and don't experience any
 kind of problems with them.

There has to be something in particular with your setup, because other
people are not seeing this problem.

You might try asking on freebsd-questions@ or freebsd-ports@. I personally
am so far behind in other committments that I won't be able to help debug
 this one. Sorry.

fwiw, in following up to PRs, be sure to Cc: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org.
That way, the information will make it into the Audit-Trail. It is not
necessary to Cc: freebsd-bugs or freebsd-ports-bugs, that happens automati-
 cally if you Cc: bug-followup.

I forgot to mention; this bug IS browser agnostic. Therefore, how can it be
a problem with the browser? I believe I already did mention that it happens
when I use KGet, so why you'd pin it down to the browser puzzles me. For the
record, the browser I used was Firefox. Is there anything further I can do
 on my end?

Can you please post this question to freebsd-questions@freebsd.org
as this is not really a PR with which we can do anything.

Please also include the URLs you are visiting when this happens.
