 When I used wrong package (adding latest package by "pkg_add -r
 openldap23-client" which is using libssl.so.5, but my environment is
 bit old with libssl.so.4), I can reproduce your behavior.
 
 But then I tried in proper environment, it seems fine.  And
 /usr/local/bin/gpg is not linked with libldap.so directory.  I think
 it loads gpgkeys_ldap dynamically and ldd gpgkeys_ldap shows it linked
 with libldap-2.3.so.
 
 Can you check it again?
