>Description:
When ports have been installed via SYSINSTALL additional software cannot be added. When trying to add a package from the BSD CDROM (for instance Apache) the message "Unable To Fetch ...".

Fetching the package can be done from an FTP site (ftp.freebsd.org) however the package initialisation cannot find the ld-elf.so.1 library.
>How-To-Repeat:

1. Attempt to install pacakge from BSD CD.
2. Attempt to run an apparently sucessful fetch from an FTP site.

State-Changed-Why:
You are grabbing ELF packages and trying to install them on an a.out
machine. Please use the older a.out packages from 2.2.8 or upgrade
to version 3.x. Thanks.
