>Description:
I'd like src/tools/tools/portsinfo to be removed from the
tree because of the following reasons:

	- It's broken. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi, which
portsinfo tries to use doesn't provide needed information
anymore, so the script simply doesn't work.
	- It's not needed. The are about hundred new ports every two
weeks and even more updated ports. Information in such
	  amount is useless IMO.

Though, if somebody feels like this tool is really needed, I think
it should be rewritten to use freshports and placed into
	ports/Tools/scripts.

This seems sensible. It relied on code in www/en/cgi/ports.cgi removed
in revision 1.84, in November 2005. In turn, that code was removed
because INDEX files are no longer regularly rebuilt in CVS, which is
 unlikely to change.

Although it's probably fixable by modifying the way ports.cgi works, as
nobody seems to have noticed that this script hasn't worked for 18
months, there doesn't seem much point.
