 To date, this problem has been seen only with the original version of
 fdimage (which should be long gone, but periodically seems to rise
 from the grave).
 
 Please try
 
     fdimage -d -v boot.flp a:
 
 and send along the debug output.  If "-d" isn't accepted, you need to
 upgrade.

Submitter states that fdimage.exe 1.2 is supplied in binary and source 
forms on the 2.2.7 CD; but version 1.5 is only in source form.  The 
latter worked, after being compiled. 

The 1.5, rather than 1.2, binary needs to appear on future CD (jkh 
advised).
