>Description:

The sysinstall program (from floppy) will not install XFree86
the menu option for XFree86 allows you to go in and make selections
however the top-level selection never toggles to "X". So
You cannot install X from the distribution.

>How-To-Repeat:

	Install.

>Fix:

	You could install manually.

Were you installing over FTP? If that is the case, try a different FTP
server, as not all mirrors carry the XFree86 distribution.

This problem has been discussed on -current recently; you might
 consider searching the archives.

Yes I did install over FTP, from ftp.cdrom.com. However, the problem
occurs when I do a "custom" install the "X" toggle for the top level
Xfree86 distribution never togglet to an "X" (all the things inside do)
but since the top level is untoggled it never installs the XFree86
 distributions.

 me too.

 This problem only occur
choose "Custom" at "Welcome to FreeBSD!" and
choose "4 Distributions" at "Choose Custom Installation Options" and
choose "7 Custom" at "Choose Distribution".

 because, I try
choose "Custom" at "Welcome to FreeBSD!" and
choose "4 Distributions" at "Choose Custom Installation Options" and
choose "2 X-User" at "Choose Distribution"
 so, XFree86 is completely installed.

 The problem(BUG) inhabit in "4 Distributions" "7 Custom" .
