I understand that this is the only way of stopping spam, and I can live

State-Changed-Why:
there are other ways to contact the postmaster than sending mail from
your normal account.. one is to use another account, or you could finger
him to obtain his phone numbers... (both of these were pointed out to
me by him :) )...

 Jonathan:

My system administrator has always had problems with our DNS...I know
the main problem is his incompetence, but he says it's Colombia's DNS
registry (a private University that sabotages him). Whatever the reason
the guy is too stubborn and doesn't want my help.

In short, this means I won't be able to post to the FreeBSD list (in
fact I've tried). IMO only people subscribed to the lists should be able
to post (with the exception of questions, of course)..

I guess I can live without posting to the lists for the noble goal of
not receiving any SPAM, but under ALL circumstances I should be able to
subscribe to the lists to keep informed.

 best regards,

         Pedro.
