FreeBSD iskh122.haninge.kth.se 2.2-970911-RELENG FreeBSD 2.2-970911-RELENG #0: Thu Sep 11 12:42:34 GMT 1997 root@make.ican.net:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC i386
>Description:
When installing from boot disk, me (And 2 other users) of recent RELENG's have had
bad XFree86 installs, where if we ran the Xfree86 configuration
from /stand/sysinstall, it would say "Xfree86 has not been installed".
This happened to me by installing from FAT, dont know about the other users.

>How-To-Repeat:
install XFree86 as part of the distribution set, and then try to configure it from /stand/sysinstall
>Fix:
manually install Xfree86 (./extract *.tgz)
