I have Compaq ProLiant 3000 - e39 (04/19/2000)
with Wide-Ultra 10k SCSI-3 9.1 GB drive and one Wide-Ultra2 SCSI 9.1 GB drive.

The First Drive is not recognized by fbsd, but second one is.
Theie is no difference if I mix them or not.

The First drive specification:
