When I want to label and partition my drive during installation. The system would prompt me no harddrive to label / partition

I think default setup did not detect my on-board scsi device. Is there any way I can config to make BSD detect my IDE drive on Promise ATA66!

State-Changed-When: Sun Apr 1 05:00:17 PDT 2001
State-Changed-Why:
a) The wd drivers in FreeBSD 3.x do not have support for Promise
controllers. You will have to use 4.x.
b) freebsd-questions@freebsd.org is the place for questions.
