When installing 4.2-release it always hangs during the hardware probe (right after the kernel configuration. A cold reset is the only fix. This happens every time at the same point.  Previous versions, including 4.1 had no poblems on this exact machine.  I have tried a burned ISO and the Official CD from the Four CD Set.
