     Keyboard: no

I tried the solution reported on your errata.txt files, but after I entered the '-Dh' command, the installation freezed on the next screen shot (kernel configuration). keyboard is dead and nothing happens. What can I do? I have an USB keyboard, with some additionality features (Volume button, Web button). My PC is an Pentium III 450 Mhz/64 Mbyte/8 Gbyte HD.

 Hi Roberto

Can you please try out FreeBSD-4.1 since alot has happend in
 the USB area since FreeBSD-3.2.

You can download and ISO-image from
 ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/ISO-IMAGES/4.1-install.iso

Please let us know if this still is a problem.

 Thanks

Nick, any hope for using a USB keyboard to install 3.2-RELEASE,
or will this gentleman need to use an AT/PS2 keyboard?

The important thing to do is to make sure you have
the correct settings in your BIOS.

 Check for settings like

 	- legacy keyboard support	(switch to yes/on)
 	- USB support (switch to yes/on)

Let me know all the settings you find that could relate to
USB support and we might be able to sort this out.

Hm, try again but now with Legacy keyboard support disabled.

When you say, that you removed both Generic USB hub drivers and the
keyboard no longer worked, was there a reboot in between the two? Or
more precise, did you remove the driver, reboot, and then the keyboard
 no longer worked?
