>Environment:
can't get this far
>Description:
I am using the Walnut Creek cd rom to install 2.1.0 freeBSD
on a 532 Mb partition on my Pentium. I get as far as it asking
for a medium and cannot get it to recognize the cd at this point.
What I have tried so far is to use the following files to
create a boot disK;

ATAPIFLP.BAT and the INST_IDE.BAT, which
 has the one line: fbsdboot.exe -D kernel.IDE
 I go through the "novice" install to the point where it wants
the media, and it will not recognize my cd. It is a
 a Sony 2-spd/IDE-ATAPI/256ms/256K

one of the other faculty also tried to install but had the
same problem.

>How-To-Repeat:
I tried booting from both twice!

This bug report contains no information about the user's
hardware configuration and is hence, well, completely useless
really.
