Hi, i have been a developer since long time. i also run some web servers.

In the beginnings i used to use freebsd as a server choice, hence i became christian i didn't feel more comfortable using hence the freebsd logo is a demon.

I believe that is one of the factors the keep freebsd to become bigger and wider used.

I hope you take this simple statement in account and please don't get me wrong.

I really appreciate you attention.

State-Changed-Why:
This has been dicussed many times over the past years on various mailing
lists. Opinions on the issue are very set, and change is unlikely. I'm
sorry. I'm closing this PR due to the past discussions; a new one is
unlikely to be constructive.

   Mathias,

I'd like to add to audit-trail of the PR that the logo change
that happened in 2005 actually did changed it to something more
 neutral.

Thats true, its not an easy change.
But im sure that many companies dont choose freebsd for the logo.

Its like a airplane company use a weird logo such as a bomb, a air plain
 crashing or something else.
its marketing... marketing will be always one of the most important thing.

i assure you that most serious Christians will never use freebsd. and
christians represent a big proportion of all the population we have

But I understand the point of view of the comunity, Anyway, changing the
logo would make it much more popular.
