>Description:
Being a big fan of OpenGrok ( http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Project+opengrok/ ) and using it quite often to search various source codes, i.e.

OpenSolaris http://src.opensolaris.org/source/

and even NetBSD http://opengrok.netbsd.org/

I know there *was* a 3rd party OpenGrok Server (see http://moduli.net/2006/12/freebsd-opengrok.html ), but sadly it's down now and I have no idea if it will ever return.

So I'd love to see an *official* OpenGrok server for FreeBSD.

I also know there are things like cvsweb/svn and http://fxr.watson.org/ , but the first can't be searched at all and fxr is for kernel source(s) only.

State-Changed-Why:
I do not think this is a problem, but this might be an idea instead.
It's also not source-code related (not by modifying the source I mean),
so I think this should be on the IdeasList on the Wiki so that someone
willing to work on this can setup a Proof of Concept, and discussion can
start whether or not we can and would like to support this officially.
Ofcourse ideas like this are always welcome! So thank you very much for
taking interest in improving the visibility and usability of FreeBSD
(and it's source code).
