 You are being very sparse here.
 
 Have you tried to look at vty2 using ALT-F2?
 Also, have you tried enabling debug messages and actively monitor
 the vty2?
 
 My best guess is that something went wrong creating slices and the
 partitions inside those slices.
 
 Have you consulted the FAQ and the handbook at www.freebsd.org as well
 prior to reporting?
 
 Please do so and report the results back and make sure you use the same 
 subject and include the freebsd-gnats-submit in the reply in order to track
 this problem.
