>Description:
Configured this machine (replicated problem on another identical machine)
as a gateway in rc.conf. Included IPNat.

Machine forwarded packets fine for 2 weeks.

Used ifconfig command to adjust wi0 device settings and machine suddenly
stopped forwarding packets out.

Local machine gateway routes were fine.

local machine continued to access outside network no problem.

Local LAN was able to access the gateway and all its services fine.

Gateway would not forward though.

IPNAT was checked and restarted.

Machine was rebooted.

The net.ipv4.forwarding environment variable seemed to have reset to 0
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:

State-Changed-Why:
Hi, A few things to try:
1. How did you work around the problem (what did you put in sysctl.conf) ?
2. Is the 'IPNAT' you're using the ipnat from ipfilter (darren reed's) ?
3. Have you reproduced this with a different wireless card?
4. Do you see this on 6.0 only or also on 6.1?
