>Description:
When I load snd_ich.ko to support my AC97 sound, I have strong CPU usage in interrupt field of "top" (~40%). It was OK when I'd did such on previous (5.4, 5.3) versions, i.e. it's not a my hardware's problem; I'd try to "kldload" old versions of sound.ko or snd_ich.ko form 5.3, but problem is stand still.
>How-To-Repeat:
      kldload snd_ich

State-Changed-When: Wed Dec 28 18:11:42 UTC 2005
State-Changed-Why:
Most probably this is a problem with shared interupts. There where
changes between 5.x and 6.0. Please update to 6.0-RELEASE or
6.0-STABLE and make sure the interrupt isn't shared (have a look
at the dmesg).

If you still have the problem, please ask for help on stable@ or
multimedia@.
