>Description:
After booting the interface will work for a short time, as traffic passes through it, it suddenly gets very slow and unuseable.
Unable to SSH over 100Mbit to it and doesn't respond to pings.

Booting with debug.mpsafenet=0 in /boot/loader.conf resolves it.
>How-To-Repeat:
    Boot with debug.mpsafenet=1 with a de(4) NIC

    Boot with debug.mpsafenet=0

FYI, the de driver indeed has locking problems - this will hopefully be addressed by 5.3.
