>Description:
Trying to burn a DVD of a precompiled ISO image. I run growisofs like this:

growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/cd0=filename.iso

Burn goes very slowly (on order of 12 hours) and during the entire burn, I get these messages in /var/log/messages:

Jun 28 18:36:11 thx1138 kernel: acd0: FAILURE - READ_SUBCHANNEL ILLEGAL REQUEST asc=0x30 ascq=0x02 error=4<ABORTED>

Burn appears to complete properly, but disc doesn't seem to work.

To followup with some more debugging info, camcontrol lists the device as
 such:

 <IOMEGA DVDRW4224INQ-D A106> at scbus2 target 1 lun 0 (cd0,pass1)

I'm using atapicam of course. I get this problem with growisofs and
 dvdrecord.

Not sure what other info I can provide, please let me know.

 Thanks,
 Steve
