>Description:
Running something like 'make' or 'make install' or 'make install clean' etc. on a filesystem which utilises two layers of unionfs mounts below each other seems to either cause a kernel panic or a deadlock. One then has to reboot the server in order to continue working.
>How-To-Repeat:
type "make install clean" or "make install" or "make" on the filesystem space mounted over two unionfs layers.
