State-Changed-Why:
Could you test this with a more recent FreeBSD release - 5.2.1 or,
preferably, 5.3-BETA?

 I try with 5.2.1, 5.3-BETA2 and 5.3-BETA4 - the problem is the same.

 I notice that when the boot freeze, the led of my ata disk stay bright
 for 10 seconds and then switch off.

 If I unplug the stick, no reaction;

 If I plug it back, the led of the stick ligths for ~4 seconds, but the
 system stay frozen.

 I try to boot 4-5 times and the freeze happen at the same place.
