System: FreeBSD curacao.n2it.nl 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #0: Mon Jan 12 18:50:48 CET 2004 root@curacao.n2it.nl:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/C64-02 amd64

>Description:
The 'config' stage of the kernel build bombs because emu10k1-alsa%diked.h
is not automatically generated on the amd64.

>How-To-Repeat:
Just attempt to build the present kernel on amd64

>Fix:
This is quick and dirty and unacceptable but will work:

cd /sys/modules/sound/driver/emu10k1 and type 'make' While the linker will
fail, the required header file will be generated. Copy emu10k1-alsa%diked.h
to the location indicated in /sys/dev/sound/pci/emu10k1.c Build and install
the new kernel and reboot -- works. (I don't have an 'audigy' card card
right at hand, but the common 'emu10k1, sb-live' card works fine.)
