 Hi maintainer !
This problem look like resource management problem for me. Because work
 fine for no ACPI functions.
Enable ACPI, em0 was assigned to intr 11, But ether net chip interrupt
line was really connected to intr 18.

I am experiencing the same problem as Kensaku Masuda. However, for me
booting a non-SMP kernel (no ACPI) does not change the IRQ (it's 10 for
both the ACPI and non-ACPI version) but the em0 interface works. So,
looks like it is not a simple interrupt routing issue.

I'm having the same problem as others, with the latest 5.2.1 patch kernel. Is this already
fixed in -CURRENT? Does disabling ACPI help?

dmesg, in case it helps anyone:

Subject: Re: kern/60285: em0 was reported about watchdog timeout
Date: Tue, 3 Aug 2004 14:22:43 -0400

This should be fixed in current by this commit:

 jhb 2004/05/10 11:26:22 PDT

   FreeBSD src repository

   Modified files:
     sys/dev/acpica acpi_pcib_pci.c
   Log:
If an ACPI PCI-PCI bridge doesn't have a _PRT object, fall back to using
the swizzle method for routing PCI interrupts across the bridge. This
fixes problems with motherboards (typically laptops) whose BIOS doesn't
provide a PRT for the AGP bridge even though there is a device entry for
the bridge in the ACPI namespace.

Tested by: Kenneth Culver culverk at sweetdreamsracing dot biz

   Revision Changes Path
   1.7 +9 -1 src/sys/dev/acpica/acpi_pcib_pci.c

Can someone please verify that this fixes the issues with em0?
