Dell Latitude LS.

pcm0@pci1:0:1:  class=0x040100 card=0x00801028 chip=0x800510c8 rev=0x20 hdr=0x00
    vendor   = 'Neomagic Corporation'
    device   = 'NM2200 MagicMedia 256AV Audio Device'
    class    = multimedia
    subclass = audio

The problem also exists on 5.x.

>Description:
System locks up hard after probing pcm if enabled.

>How-To-Repeat:
Boot with pcm enabled on a Dell Latitude LS w/ MagicMedia 256AV audio.

>Fix:

commenting out nm_wr(sc, 0x6cc, 0x87, 1); in nm_initcd() stops the hang.

State-Changed-Why:
The line is still there, so it may still a problem on 5.[34] and -current.
A test of -current would be much appreciated. If it is still a problem, do
you see any ill effects by removing that line?

What's the output of "pciconf -v -l" (only the neomagic entry is interesting).
