>Description:
 Hello, i'm new to freeBsd,
and didnt find my problem in the faq or elsewhere.
and i'm in the same for three days
 I'm running the 4.7 version in a i386
I had one network card : Davicom Dm9102A 10/100 base TX.
 and:
 dc0: couldn't map ports/memory
 dc0 attach return 6.

I went to buy another one a 3com 3c905c -tx who is told supported.
 and all works fine.

But i resolve to make something clean so i began all from 0 repartition etc...
but now the network card 3com .... doesn't work. neither the davicom ...
i removed all the possible conflicts, from other nework card. and still
 xl0: couldn't map ports/memory

I made my own kernel not forgetting to put the miibus i gess it's the name,
because it is required. but still the same error.

it's a vey strange situation here because it had worked and i can't make it
 work again.

I really apreciate if it could be possible to have an answer

 jerome Esteves
