The above problem occurs during boot on a Thinkpad R30 under FreeBSD 4.5-Release the above problem didn't occur. under 4.6-Release and 4.6.2-release the problem did occur although I was hopefull that the next release would fix the problem as I have been proven wrong, I am now reporting the matter to you in hopes that you might be able to assist me in correcting this problem.

Were you ever able to get around this problem with the USB support? I also
have nearly the same error with a compaq running release 4.7

 ohcio: <SiS 5571 USB Controller> irq 11 at device 1.2 on pic0
 ohcio: Could not map memory
 device_probe_and_attach: ohci0 attach returned 6

*This device IS listed as being supported by 4.7

I'm not sure what this could be from, but does your computer have 2 sets of
2 ports (4 total?) I may try changing the IRQs in BIOS.

No I haven't been able to work around this problem. I have 2 single usb =
 ports
This particular ohci0 device is listed as being supported since 4.1, was =
 hopeful that 5.0-RELEASE
would have fix, but am having more serious issues than usb supprot with =
 that,
I have sent my problem through the freebsd-current mailing list.=20

As for changing the irqs in the bios, The Thinkpad BIOS doesn't support =
 that fuction although
I wish that it did, because there might be a work around that way. But =
 am uncertain why
same device worked under 4.5-RELEASE and everything after that has had =
 the above error.
 Go Figure.

 Sincerely,
 Raymond A. Mouton
