>Description:
An error in uvisor.c's device table means my Sony Cli. The cli is palmos 4.1, and the line specifies the usage of a palm 4 hack
>How-To-Repeat:
connect clie 4.1 device via usb to freebsd.
>Fix:
change "PALM4" on line 203 of uvisor.c to "0" or may be more complicated if it currently works...maybe try both regardless

Have you tried more recently? In particular could you cvsup to the most
recent source and try again. A critical fix went in for uvisor in just
 the last few days.

State-Changed-Why:
There is not enough information in this ports to determine what the
problem is. All palm/os 4.x devices need the PALM_4 flag which
enables some additional initialisation code that these devices need.

It is not clear from this report whether you have tested the proposed
change, and whether it fixed things for you. (Please define "things").
