>Description:
the audio cd sound is stuck to zero with a CMI8330 soundcard: the CD is
read, but there's no output on the speakers. Playing wav works fine.
And esd makes an horrible noise too.
>How-To-Repeat:
on an i386, install a cmi8330 soundcard
in the kernel conf file:
device pcm
device sbc / or device csa, the result is the same

play a CD...

State-Changed-When: Sun Sep 11 12:51:30 GMT 2005
State-Changed-Why:
There's no digital extraction by default. Make sure your CD-ROM is
connected to the internal audio input.

If you instead are talking about a mixer problem, please open a new bug
report with the output of "mixer", "pciconf -v -l" and "cat /dev/sndstat"
on a 5.[34] or -current system.
