 Hmm, i doubt we could do anything about this.  The information
 presented is simply too sparse, and very apparently, nobody else has
 seen this problem before.  I doubt that's just since nobody uses mcopy
 at all. ;-)
 
 Can you use your floppy normally otherwise?  Don't you have any more
 datapoints to consider?

to version 3.8 and the problem seems to no longer exist.
