>Release: FreeBSD 2.1.0-Development i386 (2.0-950210-SNAP)
>Organization:
Skelleftea Dator Forening
>Environment:

We are using ppp to connect two comuters to each other. One of them
is a 486SX33 with a 16550 serial line to the other computer which is
	a 486DX33 with an 8250 serial line.

>Description:

The problem is when we try to do a "tar |rsh" to move some files from
one harddisk to another over the ppp link the 486SX33 which runs
2.0-950210-SNAP a panic: free: multiple frees. randomly when copying
	the files.

>How-To-Repeat:

Set up ppp between two computers one running 2.0-950210-SNAP the other
machine running a sup:ed version from sometime around 950204 and set up
the computer running the snap version as a router for all computers
on the ethernet and the other as an internet firewall. Then do a

rsh <a computer on the other side ppp link> "(cd /aaa; tar cf - *)" | tar xvf -

then wait for some time and the problem should show up.
>Fix:

As it is right know we have no solution of the problem.
