The same hardware can load FreeBSD 4.1-RELEASE from a Walnut Creek
CD-ROM but not 4.1.1-RELEASE from CD.

Neither the ATAPI CD-ROM IRQ and IO address nor the CD-ROM
banner message appear in the messages from the device driver probes
after the kernel loads (before the sysinstall screen).
