>Organization:
Digital:Convergence
>Environment:

The hardware is a Compaq DL360 with 4GB of RAM and 1 800MHz PIII
processor.

I downloaded a 4.1-STABLE snapshot iso file, 20000922 to be precise.
I created a CD, and attempted to boot from the CD.
The log shows:

FreeBSD/i386 bootstrap loader, Revision 0.8

>Description:

there were some commits for new pmap and vm stuff
	between 4.1-RELEASE and 4.1-STABLE-20000922.

>How-To-Repeat:

Boot 4.1-STABLE with 4GB RAM installed.

>Fix:

Remove some RAM. The system booted correctly
with 3GB RAM installed. 4.1-RELEASE boots
just fine with 4GB RAM installed.
