FreeBSD knight.localdomain 4.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.0-RELEASE #1: Tue Jul 18 19:47:45 BST 2000 root@knight.localdomain:/usr/src/sys/compile/NEW i386

>Description:
The driver for this device, although it compiles, doesn't work.
You cannot access the device for either Audio or Data.
>How-To-Repeat:
Find a machine with such a device, compile the driver in with coreect
options (same as in Linux, fyi), and cd9660, and use MAKEDEV, and try
for data or cd audio access.
>Fix:
Replace the matcd.c file in /sys/i386/isa/matcd/ with the one
from http://www.george.russell.clara.net/matcd.c.gz and recompile.

If its not there, email, and I'll send it ;-)

It was broken in looking up matcdc instead of matcd

State-Changed-When: Mon Jul 31 05:58:33 PDT 2000
State-Changed-Why:
Feedback has already been requested on kern/20296, which is a
duplicate of this PR. So although duplicates usually get
closed in deference to existing PR's, this one should be
considered superseded. :-)
