FreeBSD f.cs.yorku.ca 9.1-RC3 FreeBSD 9.1-RC3 #0 r242324: Tue Oct 30 00:58:57 UTC 2012 root@farrell.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
>Description:
I have a FreeBSD 9.1RC3 NFSv4 server exporting a share to a Red Hat 6.3 NFSv4 client. If I reboot the FreeBSD server, the RH 6.3 client does not reconnect to the share unless I forcibly unmount it, and remount it. The same operation works fine between a RH6.3 NFSv4 server and client.

>How-To-Repeat:
1) Export NFSv4 share to RH63 client
2) Mount the exported filesystem on the RH63 client
3) Reboot the FreeBSD server -- client doesn't reconnect.

Upon further investigation, Jason determined that the Linux client
generated no network traffic to the server for some time, but then
did reconnect and recover. The slow reconnect seems to be a Linux
client issue. He recommended closing the PR.
