>Description:
ath0 device when it has been connected to the wireless network for a long time (days) loses 'associated' state without an apparent reason. WEP security is used.

Nothing gets logged in system log.
Repeating the command 'ifconfig wlan0 ssid "my-ssid" weptxkey 1 deftxkey 1 wepmode on wepkey 0xXXXXXXXXXX up' restores connection.

Its possible (although I don't know for sure) that WiFi router is rebooted at this time. But this shouldn't cause it to disconnect.
