This is very limited information to see what is going on. 
Note that PFsense is a different implementation of FreeBSD 
with some custom patches. The base system is the same though. 

Would you be able to try a recent liveCD/snapshot from FReeBSD 
and see whether the problem persists? We need to get more information 
from you before it's possible to analyze anything at all.
