 System: FreeBSD gw1.jguillaumes.dyndns.org 7.2-STABLE FreeBSD 7.2-STABLE #19: Tue Sep 8 05:45:32 CEST 2009 root@gw1.jguillaumes.dyndns.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GW1 i386
>Description:
This machine is an old Pentium-III with 512MB of memory, used as a
home firewall and server. Has been running FBSD for years without a
glitch. Last week I decided to upgrade from 6.4 to 7.2, using sources,
and to move from cvsup to ctm to keep the sources upgraded. After
aplying the last two deltas, I recompiled and the problem started
(with the initil, CVSuped version it worked OK).
The last delta I applied is src-7 746.

Each time I try to start Xorg, whatever how (xdm, startx, Xorg
-configure, Xorg -probeonly...) the system crashes with the error line
"vm_phys_paddr_to_vm_page: paddr 0xf8000 is not in any segment". It
happens both my "tuned" kernel like with GENERIC.
I've upgraded all the xorg related ports: xorg-server, xorg-drivers
and also some libraries (by dependecy, using portmaster). In this
moment I'm upgrading ALL my installed ports.
I tried to attach the vmcore, after bzipping it, but your mail server
bounces the message because of the size. Please tell me what
information do you need and what do I have to do to get it.

> How-To-Repeat:
Simply starting X in any way.

> Fix:
I've got to disable X commenting out the command which start xdm in /
usr/local/etc/rc.d. X is unusable in this machine.
