>Environment:
regarding GENERIC 3.2R kernel

>Description:
The base system ships with isc-dhcp, but isc-dhcp is not usable without
a free bpf device for each dhcp/bootpable interface. It'd be neat if
GENERIC shipped with even one bpf device, both to aid bootstrapping a
custom kernel off of a separate (but reachable only through a dhpc'd
interface) fast build box and also to leave an active bpf line in
the config file many use as a model to create their own kernel conf from.

>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to run dhclient on a GENERIC kernel :-)

>Fix:

n/a

Responsible-Changed-Why:
Sorry jkh, to assign yet-another-pr to you. It seems to happen a lot these
days, but you must admit that I rarely do it. On a good day, I might even
close one that has been assigned to you. :-) Anyways, if this is going
to happen, you're probably the only person who will do it, or at least,
close to the only person.
