>Description:
We are running Dell 2650's and the above network card is running an
increasing amount of errors. If we disable these on-board cards and
replace it with a pci intel card then we recieve no errors. The previously
installed os (centos) on this machine also produced no errors. This would
therefore elimate a cable, switch or hardware problem and leaves me to
believe that we are dealing with an OS or driver issue. We have tried all
the available patches and suggestions and nothing has worked.

State-Changed-Why:
Is this still issue on recent FreeBSD release?
(8.1-RELEASE or 7.3-RELEASE)
I vaguely remember there was window when the large number of Ierrs
showed up but I think it was fixed long time ago.

Ok, BCM5703 supports hardware MAC counters so I'd like to see it.
Show me the output of "sysctl dev.bge.0.stats" on recent FreeBSD
release as well as verbose dmesg output. If you have way to trigger
the issue, please let me know how you triggered it.
Note, you should use fairly recent FreeBSD release as there had
been many improvements over the years on bge(4) and PHY handling.
Forgot one thing, please also show me the output "ifconfig bge0".
