 Hi,
I saw a bug opened by on Free BSD site for a perl process stuck in pipewr state.
I also face the same problem. I am using freeBSD 4.11 release

What solution did you propose to resolve this issue ?

Responsible-Changed-Why:
Reclassify.

I should note that 4.11 is now out of support, so it is unlikely any
developers will be looking at this problem. Your best bet it to try
to reproduce the problem with 6.2-RELEASE.
