>Description:
Reloading if_iwi.ko module leads to system automatic reboot without a warning.

I had a wireless connection problem in my ad-hoc network. I thought it
could be solved by module reloading on one of the machines. Initially
if_iwi.ko was loaded at a boot time (in loader.conf)

The reloading really restored the connection, but 30 seconds later the
system simply hung up and rebooted with no warning.
>How-To-Repeat:
Load if_iwi, iwi_bss and other approriate modules in loader.conf

Bring up a wireless network with through Intel PRO/Wireless NIC.

kldunload if_iwi
kldload if_iwi

The system will reboot in a minute.

I wrongly closed this PR. Submitter cannot upgrade to 7.x so we still need to keep this open.

Something similar, probably related happens on my laptop (HP pavillion
dv6570ed) with a 3945abg chipset. wpa_supplicant can negotiate fine, but
as soon as dhclient runs, the box panics. I haven't had time to set up
proper dumping yet, so alas, I have no detailed information at this
 point.
