uname -a is impossible to use. Sony VAIO VGN FE31ZR. Core2Duo T5600 CPU.
HDD 120 Gb SATA150 Fujitsu (MHV2120BH) 2.5" in AgeStar SCB2A box attached
to USB.

The system was successfully installed from CDs. After reboot system could
not start kernel. BTX Loader report critical error and stop responding.
The problem was checked on several notebooks and was the same on all CoreDuo
and Core2Duo notebooks. Notebooks on Pentium M processors did not show any
problems.
