 I've looked at merging ral from HEAD into RELENG_6.
 
 It is a bit complicated since the newer version of the ral driver
 depends on various changes in the net80211 subsystem and bpf.
 
 Especially the bpf changes are a problem, since they seem to
 affect a lot of other device drivers as well. I stopped my merging
 efforts there.
 
 I guess running -CURRENT is the best solution if you really need
 ral support now. I will probably wait for 7.0-RELEASE, and until
 then use my ral card in an OpenBSD box, where it works just fine.
