>Description:
I have a 2004 model gateway 450 with intel centrino.

The laptop has a couple multi-key function keys, including volume control and screen dimming.

If I attempt to use the dimming key, the entire system freezes. The only way to get back control is to hard kill using the power button.

This happens every time and immediately upon use of such keys.

This was not a problem in 6.0-Release, and it may be KDE.

Thanks.
