FreeBSD claims to support usb keyboards out of the box, well, heres news for you: i plugged in my keybaord, (i only have usb, its a laptop) and i could choose to boot with usb but when it gets to the install it doesnt work. nice keyboard support. Im using a microsoft keyboard, which shouldnt be a problem, and in fact, it detects the keyboard upon loading the install... So, you my friends, have a HUGE problem with your software.

State-Changed-Why:
I'm sorry that you don't understand that no one is "hired" to work on
FreeBSD. With only a handful of exceptions, all the work is done by
volunteers.

While it's true that we are working on problems in the keyboard
multiplexors, it's also true that there are also known workarounds that
have been posted to the mailing lists. However, since you don't seem
to be interested in treating our volunteers with the respect that they
(IMHO) deserve for all the hard work -- or even going through the motions
of looking for those postings on the mailing lists -- then it's almost
certain that you won't be able to get assistance installing FreeBSD on
your system.

If this is the way you want to treat software providers, I can recommend
Microsoft. They, at least, deserve it.
