FreeBSD 2.2.6-STABLE

>Description:

When I attempt to run "make buildworld" from /usr/src the system will
reboot after about 20 minutes. I have tried this in both single and
multi-user with the same results.

Here's a bit of a script I made during the last attempt in single-user
mode:

/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_int/../../../../contrib/gcc/c-common.c -o
c-common.o

cc -O -pipe -DFREEBSD_AOUT
-I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_int/../../../../contrib/gcc
-I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_int/../../../../contrib/gcc/config
-DFREEBSD_NATIVE -DDEFAULT_TARGET_VERSION=\"2.7.2.1\"
-DDEFAULT_TARGET_MACHINE=\"i

And at that point it reboots. Acutally, I get a crash dump (error type 12
in ld, the dump wasn't written to the file (of course) so I can't be more
specific at this point. If you want to know more please write me and I'll
do it again and write down the dump.), and the system attempts to sync the
disks before rebooting. The sync fails, and the system reboots anyways.
Luckily the only files that have been damaged in the failed sync are the
ones that it was working on at the time so I haven't lost any data at this
point.

I cvsupped last night (July 7th) around 10:30pm CDT.

>How-To-Repeat:

Attempt to bulid the world in both single and multi-user mode
