FreeBSD 5.2.1 can not be installed from CD when using [Samsung CDRW/DVD SN-324F U203]. The problems occurs on Dell Latitude X300. After kernel boots and sysinstal application starts CD becomes unavailable.

 Do FreeBSD actually find the CD drive during boot?  There should be a
 line more or less like:
 
 acd0: CDRW <UJDA740 DVD/CDRW> at ata1-master PIO4

 Could you supply the dmesg (located in /var/run/dmesg.boot after boot)
 =66rom 4.9 where the CD drive is detected?
