I am an old user of FreeBSD. On my PC at home, since a few months I am not able to install from CDROM. 
I can't install the 4.9 version from CDROM because I got a lot of timeout of MODE_SENSE_BIG 
After a lot of lines with this timeout the "probing ..." message comes and nothing happen ...

with more recent versions of FreeBSD? 6.1 would be
